IF THERE IS ONE THING YOU CAN'T TAKE FROM ME IT IS THE VERSES OF A SONG.
click here and listen to this song first:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_jo1Lv9fcQ - Our Social Contract was written in song and sung throughout the length and breadth of Malaysia, only to be taken out of the air during the Mahatherian era, the era of Mahathirism and Ketuanan Melayu.
- MORE THAN JUST A SOCIAL CONTRACT.
- UMNO led by Mahathir and his successors reneged on this Social Contract, in fact not a Social Contract but the actual fundamental contractual terms of the formation of Malaysia.
- The key words of this contract were;
- DARI PERLIS SAMPAILAH KE SABAH
- KITA SUDAH MERDEKA.
- and
- SATU BANGSA SATU NEGARA MALAYSIA BERJAYA
- The lyrics of the song in its original form is copied here for you to see, and if there is real Malay dignity then that dignity must be seen here respecting this the original foundation of the formation of Malaysia.
- There is only one Bangsa and one Negara and that is Bangsa Malaysia because the Negara is Malaysia
- Malaysia kita sudah berjaya,
- Aman makmur bahagia
- Malaysia abadi selamanya,
- Berjaya dan berjaya!
- Berbagai kaum sudah berikrar
- Menjunjung cita-cita
- Satu bangsa satu bahasa
- Malaysia berjaya!
- Dari Perlis sampailah ke Sabah
- Kita sudah merdeka
- Negara makmur rakyat mewah
- Kita sudah berjaya!
- Dengar semboyan kita berjaya
- Gemuruh di angkasa
- Satu bangsa satu negara
- Malaysia berjaya!
- With the advent of the Mahatherian era, he - Mahathir began putting into place long advocated policy of Ketuanan Melayu.
- One of his first tasks was to create 1,000 millionaires and I really wonder how many of you even remember this.
- He also wanted to create Malays builders because most of the contractors who were responsible for allthe high rise buildings in Malaysia at that time were Chinese and everyone knew of Mahathir's dislike for the Chinese.
- Having said that he had his band of Chinese supporters, and without mentioning names I am sure you are aware fo the PROMET building in Kuala Lumpur with its own helipad and all. it still stands by a different name. It was the tallest building in Kuaala Lumpur then.
- So why was it called PROMET? He had huge designs.
- Word had it that it stood for "Pro Mahathir Engineering Technology",the rest is history and Anwar Ibrahim is quite familiar with this I am told.
- Mahathir's Ketuanan Melayu got him wasting a lot of hard earned Malaysian tax payers monies.
- Many people think he is a wizard, he is actually a fool who does not know he is a fool although he is aware of all the foolish things he has done and let me name a few;
- Trying to corner the Tin Market and rendering tin mines in this country useless after the price of tin crashed thanks to his ingenious plan to corner the tine market and the bustling city of Ipoh became insignificant.
- Daya Bumi where all the workers were Malays hoping to make the Malays the kingpins in the building industry, from masons to clerk of works to foremen to Engineers to Contractors to Developers.
- Daya Bumi was a flop, the skilled workmen at almost every worksite today is a Bangladeshi or an Indonesian.
- The twin Towers only to be saved by Petronas or else it would have become the largest white Elephant in the world.
- MAS and his plans had the airline go Bankrupt.
- His 1000 Malay millionaires I think he achieved more than that, most became Millionaires through corrupt practices, in the process the civil service became corrupt, the police force and even the judiciary and of course many many politicians whose wealth today cannot be accounted for.
- He has created Malays millionaires and Malay millionaire hopefuls, now in fact they want to be billionaires, and for this they require special privileges without which their pipe dream will not materialize and that explains the Kongress Melayu in which Zainal Keling gave the opening address which of course Mahaathir did not hear.
