The incomprehensible mindset of these politicians does not surprise me, neither does it the general public in Malaysia, we've seen it once too often.
We must remember that this is the Party that tells Malays that if they do not vote PAS they'll go to hell, because this is God's Party.
One wonders how they can ever get away with this from religious authorities who are so sensitive to sacrilegious statements and it is also no wonder either, because those authorities too are of the same mindset.
Say anything against them and you will be labelled, abused and called a non believer which to a Muslim is the greatest insult, that is the face of political Islam and we see it very rampantly in Malaysia and the world today.
So now to come out and try and push their agenda on non Muslims like they usually do, they are calling for a ban on alcohol sales.
Drunk driving is a careless act and needs to be punished, people who drink should be more responsible and in these days of grab drivers they do not need to drive drunk, there's always a sober driver around.
Drunk driving is a problem throughout the free world and requires effective remedies, by people who see opportunities in such situations real beneficial opportunities not narrow minded and foolish short term ones that create more damage.
On the positive side it could create a whole new industry, an industry of sober drivers, so if you have driven to the pub Grab a sober driver to drive you home. So you have real "GRAB DRIVERS" or shall we call it "SOBER DRIVERS -GRAB ONE",industry just waiting to happen.
That is looking at the problem positively, there is a problem so look at a solution not kill an industry, that is the narrow and foolish mindset of these politicians, create another that is more positive, these narrow minded politicians will drive this country to bankruptcy, deprive people of good paying jobs, and create a vacuum which will be hard to fill in supporting industries.
A very good one is to ask the glass industry what they stand to lose with the shutting down of the sales of alcoholic beverages.
These politicians are real numb skulls, they never bother to give thought to what they say, before raising such issues, have they considered alternatively good paying jobs to compensate the thousands of workers who depend on this industry and who will be rendered jobless as a result - most certainly not.
Why bother anyway, these politicians make millions via pseudo contracts and corruption, the real scourge of the nation, and instead of getting rid of corruption the bigger sin, because it robs from the poor, they go after such meaningless campaigns and this very frankly is today's Malay politics both from PAS and UMNO.
That is the main reason they will not have Anwar for Prime Minister, he will abolish the gravy train, there will be no more handouts to the rich and infamous Malays politician and aristocracy, take a look at who wants Anwar out and you'll find that answer.
USING THE LOGIC OF PAS INFORMATION CHIEF KAMARUZAMAN MOHAMMED,
WE SHOULD BAN SUGAR, RICE WHEAT, ALL SWEET BEVERAGES, CONFECTIONS, BECAUSE IT WILL PREVENT DIABETES.
THE MAJORITY OF DIABETICS ARE MALAYS AND MUSLIMS AND I SUSPECT EVEN THE PAS CHIEF IS A HOPELESS DIABETIC.
Well of course that will be more beneficial it will prevent more deaths, go find out how many Malaysians are dying of diabetes induced disease, heart attacks, strokes, organ failure, getting blind, having limbs removed and more and compare that with drunk driving..
WHY IS KAMARUZAMAN NOT ASKING TO SUSPEND THE SALE OF SUGAR, RICE, WHITE BREAD ETC. IT IS HARMFUL TO DIABETICS?
I believe the deaths from diabetes are more than deaths caused by motorbike accidents which is the single largest death rate of motor accidents.
Then again there are thousands of times more deaths on the road by motorbikes than from drunk driving and there is absolutely no care whatsoever by the authorities, Mat Rempits are all around and the reason is the government has failed these chaps there are no alternatives for better live styles.
The young Malay lad dates a girl he gets caught for close proximity or khalwat, he can't behave like a young Malays lad,he must conform but how do the higher ups get taway with it? Ask Njaib how many
girls he dated whilst in England during his school days?
I haven't the faintest idea but I know he is Tun Razak's son and look at the picture above it runs in the genes.
The rich send their children overseas, they are free to party their parents know about it, we have seen much of that in our whatsApp shadings, and they way they party is really wild these are children of Ministers who preach all these Holier than thou type of behaviour, they are fully aware of their children's behavior,why can't they stand up for the ordinary Malay boy here?
The answer is nothing less than COWARDICE.
Why do you think the majority of our drug addicts are Malay Muslims?
Because that is the only high they can get without getting so easily caught and that is a straight forward answer.
We have been living with the drug problem for years, and we have not found a solution even with the death sentence, I will suggest let the young Muslim lads take a drink or two and let them freely date it comes naturally so why go against nature and see how it will affect the drug trade.
There are times you have to weigh between the two evils, for us drinking is not an evil it is socializing, but since to them it is an evil they must weigh it against the other more hazardous alternatives.
Going back to motorbike deaths.
Motorbike lanes are left in despair, they are shoddy pieces of work that create more accidents than solve the problem in most if not all Highway projects - motorbike lanes are just a formality, they just do not care, after all to them the biker does not pay toll so why bother, that seems to be the attitude.
Why every time there is a new project near the highway the motorbike lane is dispensed with, the tunnels are prone to flood, the lighting is absolutely bad, so bikers are really of no concern they can continue to die by the hundreds and does it concern these people?
Put this issue of deaths by bike and other motor accidents to them, and thery'll tell you, it is caused "by the will of God" that is what they'll say, after all they are God's party so they have rights to blame God.
This banning of Alcohol is in no way a preventive measure it stems from only one thing - religious bigotry and that is what PAS specialises in, haven't we seen this time and time again and yet they'll come out saying very vocally we will not discriminate against other beliefs - bullshit!!
If we can ban Communism in this country and shake hands and live with Communist China who incidentally is our biggest trading partner, why can't we ban these Political groups of hate ,who practice racism, religious bigotry and are really no good for the nation at all.
If PAS is indeed a religious party ask it to clean up its President first, draw him to an open public inquiry on the allegations of corruption made by Sarawak report- yes Public Inquiry - this religious Party that claims it is God's Party should do the right thing, bring Hadi Awang out to show how clean they are and let people outside the party better those who oppose them conduct the inquiry to prove to the world how good they really are.
Let Hadi Awang come out with the true figures of how much he paid Rewcastle to settle the court case he so bravely embarked on only to shy away when he knew Rewcastle had got him by his tail.
If he can really come out clean with a truly independent panel, then the rakyat will sing his praises.
Before crying "Ban Alcohol" expose the corruption first in your own party, then in the government, clean up your act first then come and tell us how to live.

There is one very senior politician a close confidante of the PAS President,who is a connoisseur of fine wine and cigars, his choice of wines are splendid I would have a glass with him if given the opportunity but for his internationally flawed reputation.
